2025-2026 Community Impact Grant

The Middlesex United Way (MUW) is currently accepting applications for its 2025-2026 Community Impact Grant. This funding opportunity is designed to support new organizations working within established impact areas, including Racial Equity & Inclusion, Education, Financial Security, Housing, Wellness, and Youth Opportunity. The goal of MUW's Community Impact Grants is to allocate resources toward addressing the most pressing needs in Middlesex County, Connecticut.

Eligible applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization or have a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status. Funds from the Community Impact Grant must be used for services benefiting the residents of Middlesex County and cannot be used for capital expenditures, scholarship programs, or third-party or contractual payments. Organizations may apply for funding between $5,000 and $30,000. Applications will be reviewed and scored by volunteers and staff.

The grant application process includes several key steps. The application opens on January 17, 2025, and the final deadline to submit is March 28, 2025. All applicants are required to attend one of two virtual informational sessions: currently funded partners may attend the session on February 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, while new applicants must attend the session on February 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The application and all required documents, including operational budgets, letters of support, program budgets, leadership/staff demographics, and tax exemption letters, must be uploaded via the Middlesex United Way grant portal.
