United Way Community Grant 2025-2027

The 2025-2027 United Way of Western Nebraska (UWWN) grant program supports local nonprofit organizations within the Western Nebraska area that promote community health, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resilience. The funding is available for a two-year commitment covering two periods: July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, and July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. This grant opportunity provides critical financial support to organizations committed to improving their local communities, with an emphasis on ensuring long-term positive impact.

The United Way of Western Nebraska requires applicants to first read the 2025-2027 Funding Applications Guide and submit an email indicating their intent to apply by February 28, 2025. This process ensures that all applicants are registered and can submit their completed materials electronically.

The application must be filled out digitally using Adobe software and submitted in PDF format. Applicants should gather essential supporting documentation such as a financial audit, bank statements, and proof of 501(c)(3) status. These documents must be submitted through the unique upload link provided after confirming the intent to apply. The United Way also provides a Reference Guide and Examples to assist in completing the application, which should be followed carefully to ensure compliance with submission requirements.

Once the application is submitted, grant awards are contingent upon the signing of the United Way of Western Nebraska Partner Agency Agreement, which is a prerequisite for receiving the funds. The agreement outlines the terms of the partnership and the conditions under which the grant funds will be disbursed. All materials, including the application and supporting documentation, are due no later than Friday, March 7, 2025.
